Journal Entry #5
In our bbt class we made Sploder accounts, sploder is a site where you can make games. Once we started to make the game we were to have 2 levels and to post it to my blog. The only issue i had with this site was that my computer was very slow and it would not let me sign in.
Journal Entry #4
In our bbt class we watched a documentary about privacy on the internet. This video was very interesting in many different ways and I think the video also made me think twice before giving away any information that could result in harm to me or anyone else. There was lots of good arguments between why people should be careful on the internet, also a very interesting thing i saw in the video is when a person brook into someones house and then used there computer to post a picture on facebook of them.
Journal Entry #3
In our bbt class we have been asked to get in groups and make a poster about anything involving internet, so our group Mackenzie, Jessica, Alisha and I choose to make a poster on social Media safety. This poster would involve thing about like how what you say on the internet has an impact on who you are as a person and could also hurt you later on in life.
Journal Entry #2
In our bbt class we watched three videos and started getting use to Google Drive, Glogster and Blogger. Poster
Our group, (MacKenzie, Nicole, Jessica and Alisha) did our poster on the how to be safe, while using social media. The subject targets mainly the ages eleven and up, because some teens and children can be a lot more immature than others, and handle things differently. We put the things that would be common sense if you were to be making an account on Facebook, Instagram, etc. For example, if you give out your password and tell someone not to go on your account, they could be immature about it and do the opposite. We took photo’s off of Google that represent social media sites such as: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Some other points we put on our poster were to be nice to others while online, and be careful of what you post because it could affect you later on in life. I think it would be effective to talk about this because it would give kids and teenagers and idea of how they should act online and possibly be more mature about everything. In our group, MacKenzie drew and designed the draft of the poster and wrote the rationale. Jessica also helped designed the poster and came up with the things to put on it. Alisha helped get pictures. Nicole also helped get pictures as well.
